Custody and Visitation
Custody and Visitation
As a parent myself, I can personally relate to the concerns of parents for their children as they go through a divorce. It is not easy, but in my experience, children tend to adapt to these changes as long as both parents provide a stable, nurturing environment for them, and do not place the children in the middle of their disputes.
When we meet, we will discuss the needs of your child or children in order to determine the best possible outcome for everyone involved. Legally speaking, it is the policy of the courts in California to make orders regarding custody and visitation that are in the “best interests” of the child. What this means exactly varies from case to case, but in general courts want to ensure that your children are safe and well-cared for by both parents.
